Tyler Ulis – Heart and Hype
All us UK fans know that Tyler Ulis is a ridiculously skilled athlete. He certainly plays much bigger than his size and despite being a freshman, he is a leader and a floor general out there. He is so tenacious on defense and is absolutely one of the best on ball defenders I have ever seen at the college level. No one and I mean no one beats him off the dribble. Tyler will also be the neutralizer if we were to run into another Shabazz Napier type guard in this years NCAA tournament.
I absolutely love this kids heart too. He is a true winner and a competitor. Louisville found out first hand just how much heart Tyler has. I bet they burnt those ridiculous “Heart Over Hype” warmup shirts after that game because they quickly learned that UK not only had heart, but the hype was real too. Tyler literally led us to victory while bleeding. Louisville didn’t demonstrate much of anything that game, players like Chris Jones and Montrez Harrell were too busy pretending to be “Drama Queens” rather than playing basketball.
