“Louisville Logic” – SEC embarrassing itself already

Ole Miss trailed BYU 49-32 at the half, but they came storming back in the second half to defeat BYU 94-90. Louisville fans were prematurely coming of the woodwork to trash the entire SEC conference.

Apparently, some Louisville fans thought the SEC conference was “embarrassing itself already” because Ole Miss was trailing to a NCAA tournament team out the WCC. Oh, how quickly they forget about 13th seeded Morehead State from the OVC knocking them out of the tournament in 2011.

Applying the same “Louisville Logic” as above, we could also conclude that the Southern Conference is greater than the ACC. After-all, Louisville lost to NC State who lost to Wofford, therefore Wofford > Louisville.

How about the OVC? Eastern Kentucky did beat Miami by 30 points this year, and Miami beat Duke by 16 points. That can only mean EKU > Duke and the OVC > ACC. See how that works Louisville fans? It is sound logic!

Seriously, we have to overlook Louisville fans this year- they are overly excited and giddy because there are no other Kentucky teams on their side of the bracket. They know they definitely dodged a bullet with Murray State being left out of the tournament.

A user that goes by the name of MCShakyCheese on Soundcloud has created a catchy Kentucky Wildcat tribute song set to the tune of Ice, Ice Baby. The original song was popular in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I don’t know if the younger generation will remember the song, but us “30 somethings” certainly will.

Awesome job McshakeyCheese! I thought it was catchy and I really enjoyed it. Check out the audio and lyrics below.

Fun fact: Kentucky is 33-0 on the season.

In somewhat chippy game that was never in doubt, Kentucky easily handled Auburn in a tune up for the chance to win their 28th SEC Tournament Championship. The cats will either face Georgia or Arkansas tomorrow at 1 PM.

Kentucky improves to 32-0 and ties longest SEC team win streak

Today’s win was Kentucky’s third over Florida this season, with two of those coming over the past week. This win also ties the longest win streak ever by an SEC school. And according to ESPN, the 2015 Kentucky Wildcats are the 6th team in Division 1 history to start 32-0. Two of those teams went on to win the National Title.

Karl-Anthony Towns showed up big again today, he posted a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. The Harrison twins are always clutch during big games, they combined for 22 points and only 1 turnover as the top-seeded Cats defeat the Gators 64-49 in the quarterfinals of the 2015 SEC Tournament.

Kentucky faces the winner of the Auburn and LSU game tomorrow at 1PM.
