Ole Miss trailed BYU 49-32 at the half, but they came storming back in the second half to defeat BYU 94-90. Louisville fans were prematurely coming of the woodwork to trash the entire SEC conference.

Apparently, some Louisville fans thought the SEC conference was “embarrassing itself already” because Ole Miss was trailing to a NCAA tournament team out the WCC. Oh, how quickly they forget about 13th seeded Morehead State from the OVC knocking them out of the tournament in 2011.

Applying the same “Louisville Logic” as above, we could also conclude that the Southern Conference is greater than the ACC. After-all, Louisville lost to NC State who lost to Wofford, therefore Wofford > Louisville.

How about the OVC? Eastern Kentucky did beat Miami by 30 points this year, and Miami beat Duke by 16 points. That can only mean EKU > Duke and the OVC > ACC. See how that works Louisville fans? It is sound logic!

Seriously, we have to overlook Louisville fans this year- they are overly excited and giddy because there are no other Kentucky teams on their side of the bracket. They know they definitely dodged a bullet with Murray State being left out of the tournament.

A user that goes by the name of MCShakyCheese on Soundcloud has created a catchy Kentucky Wildcat tribute song set to the tune of Ice, Ice Baby. The original song was popular in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I don’t know if the younger generation will remember the song, but us “30 somethings” certainly will.

Awesome job McshakeyCheese! I thought it was catchy and I really enjoyed it. Check out the audio and lyrics below.

Lyrics:

Yo, UK, Let’s kick it!

Cats Cats Baby… Cats cats baby

Alright Stop, Call a timeout and listen
Cal is back with a brand new invention
Towns grabs a hold of it tightly
Drives like a tank, daily and nightly
Will it ever stop? Yo – I think no
Draw out the foul, and he’ll blow
To the extreme he’s got the size like Randle
Light up the court with his dunks you can’t handle

Dance, Go flood the streets with blue
We’re killin’ your bracket like a poisonous mushroom
Deadly, when Aaron’s three is necessity
Anything less than his best is a felony
Love ’em, or leave em’, you better give way
You better hit bull’s eye, those Cats don’t play
If there was a problem, Booker will solve it
Check out his three’s while the replay revolves it

Cats Cats baby… The Wild Cats Cats baby…
The Wild Cats Cats baby… The Wild Cats Cats baby… The Wild

Now that the team is jumpin’
With the ball passed in, and the offense is pumpin’
Quick to the rim, to the rim, no faking
Shootin’ FGs, cause their defense is shaken
Burning them, they ain’t quick and nimble
I go crazy when they flash our symbol
And our game stats, played with souped up tempo
They’re on a roll, they ain’t in it solo
Drainin’ their 3.0’s
With the shotclock high so their rhymth can flow
Cheerleaders on standby, waving just to say, “Hi!”
Did he stop? No – Lyles just drove by
Kept on pursuing to his best spot
He busted left, Razors trying for their next block
Their block was dead, Yo, so we continued to NCAA Champion Avenue!

Cats are hot shocking fans like Houdini
Ulis rocking speed like Lamborghinis
Jealous, cause he’s making good time
Ulis with a lob then its Willie at the line
Ready for the jumps on the ball
Duke acting ill cause they’re used to the thrown calls
Jumpshots rang out like a bell
Dakari fallin’, all I heard was yells
Falling on the court floor real fast
Now he’s up, ready for a pass
Body to body, the lane’s gettin’ packed
We’re tryna pull away but the refs are stacked
Lee settin’ the screen, you know what I mean?
They get tripped up, getin’ mad cause they got creamed

If there was a problem, Karl will solve it
Check out his hooks while the replay revolves it

Cats Cats baby… The Wild Cats Cats baby…
The Wild Cats Cats baby… The Wild Cats Cats baby… The Wild

Take heed, we’re the champs and we show it
Trophy is on the scene just in case you didn’t know it
My town, that created all the hype sound
Enough to shake and burn couches to the ground
‘Cause our style is keepin’ it real
Pro skill you can vision and feel
Practiced and performed, its one Hell of a concept
We make it hype and you want to play with this
Andrew plays for the fade, feet like a ninja
Cuttin like a razor blade so fast, other PGs say “Damn.”
He’s got a breakaway, get ready for the slam
Keep my composure when we cut the net loose
Magnetized by the trophy shining like Zeus

If there was a problem, Cats will solve it
Check out the banner while the replay revolves it

Cats Cats baby… The Wild Cats Cats baby…
The Wild Cats Cats baby… The Wild Cats Cats baby…

The Wild Cats

Yo, Let’s get it out of here…

Wild Cats 40 and 0
Wild Cats 40 and 0 and 0
Wild Cats 40 and 0
Wild Cats 40 and 0 and 0

Karl-Anthony Towns showed up big again today, he posted a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds. The Harrison twins are always clutch during big games, they combined for 22 points and only 1 turnover as the top-seeded Cats defeat the Gators 64-49 in the quarterfinals of the 2015 SEC Tournament.

Kentucky faces the winner of the Auburn and LSU game tomorrow at 1PM.
