Here is sheet 2 of my custom created 2015 Kentucky Basketball cards. They also have a “retro-style” design similar to the 1971 Topps cards. Each card is the standard 2.5 inches x 3.5 inches and should fit normal card sleeves. The 9 cards will print perfectly on standard 8.5 inches x 11 inch printer paper and/or card stock. As I mentioned in my the other post, I create these for my boys to collect and play with since they love college basketball and the Wildcats.

2015 Pikeville Bears Custom Cards

Greyson, my 10 year old son is obsessed with basketball. His two favorite teams are the Kentucky Wildcats and the Pikeville Bears. He follows the Bears as closely as I do the Wildcats. When he attended Pikeville home games this year, he would slip down behind the bench to talk to the players. They were always surprised that he knew and cared about them. To Greyson, they were all superstars and he treated them as such.

For the last home game of the season, Pikeville setup a little VIP treatment for Greyson. The night before the game I created some cards of the players that I told Greyson he could take and hopefully get signed. He had no idea that Pikeville had already planned a special evening for him.

We arrived about a hour early. He got to spend time(greeting and taking selfies) with all the players at pregame, the staff took him on a tour of the locker room and even acknowledged him at halftime. He even got sit in on Kelly Well’s halftime speech.

I really appreciate and would like to thank everyone at Pikeville that made this possible. He still talks about the experience daily. It meant the world to him and I am sure he never will forget this experience.

Below I included the card sheets of the 2014/2015 Upike Bears that he took the game and some photos we took of him interacting with the players and staff. The players loved the cards.
